# Tracking Links & UTM A **tracking link** is a short, unique URL that points at an event and records every click and conversion. ## Build a link In **Marketing → Tracking links**, create a link with a **slug**, a destination event, and **UTM parameters** (source, medium, campaign). ## How it tracks Each visit to the slug increments **clicks**; completed purchases increment **conversions** and attribute **revenue**.
