# AI Image Generation Generate original artwork from a text prompt without leaving [Cobra Studio](#/help/cobra-studio-overview) — perfect for hero images, backgrounds, and social graphics when you don't have a photo to hand. ## Generate from a prompt 1. Open **Generate** (or the AI panel) in the [Design Editor](#/help/studio-design-editor). 2. Describe what you want — subject, style, mood, and color (try "acid-green neon city skyline at night, poster art"). 3. Generate, then pick a result to drop onto the [canvas](#/help/studio-design-editor) as an image layer. ## Refine the result Once on the canvas, treat it like any other image: apply [adjust filters](#/help/studio-adjust-filters), add [layer effects](#/help/studio-layer-effects), or use the other [AI image tools](#/help/cobra-studio-ai) to remove/replace a background or **expand** it to a new aspect ratio. ## Generate a whole campaign Need a coordinated set of assets in one shot?
