# Closing Deals & the Platform Fee When you find the right event, you and the organizer work toward a **deal**. ## How a deal progresses Organizers manage deals through a pipeline — from first conversation, to sharing a sponsorship **deck**, through negotiation, to a signed agreement. You'll typically discuss the **package**, agree on a price (asking vs. negotiated), and confirm the deliverables. ## The platform fee TicketCobra applies a **platform fee** on closed marketplace sponsorships. It's a percentage of the deal that covers running the marketplace, AI matching, and payment handling — the organizer receives the remainder.
