# Event Collections A **collection** groups related events — a festival lineup, a class series, a season — under one shareable page. ## Build a collection From **Collections**, create one with a title, description, and cover, then **add events** to it. Reorder or remove events at any time. Each collection gets a public **slug** so you can share a single link covering many dates. ## When to use a collection vs. a series - Use a **collection** to bundle *distinct* events that share a theme. - Use [recurring events](#/help/recurring-events) when one event simply repeats. Promote a collection alongside your other [marketing tools](#/help/marketing-overview), and design a cover for it in [Cobra Studio](#/help/cobra-studio-overview).
