Transferring Tickets
Send a ticket to someone else and what is allowed.
# Transferring Tickets Bought tickets for friends or can't make it? You can **transfer** a ticket to someone else. ## How a transfer works A transfer reassigns a ticket to a new holder by their **email address**. Once transferred, the new holder's information is on the ticket and a fresh, valid QR code is theirs to use for entry. The transfer is recorded in the ticket's history. ## What's allowed - You can transfer a ticket that **hasn't been checked in** yet. - A transfer can be **reversed** to return the ticket to the previous holder if a mistake was made. - Some organizers may set their own policies on transfers for specific events.
