# Refunds & Cancellations ## Refund policies are set per event Each event has its own **refund policy**, chosen by the organizer, which you agree to when you buy. Common policies include: - **No refunds** - **Refunds anytime** before the event - **Refunds up to a certain number of days before** the event - **Refunds until a specific date** The policy is shown during checkout and on your confirmation, so check it before you buy. ## How to request a refund Refunds are issued by the **organizer**. Reach out to the event organizer (their support contact is on the event page and your confirmation) with your **order number** to request one. If you're eligible under the event's policy, the refund is returned to your original payment method through Stripe. Note that **service fees are generally non-refundable**, even when the ticket price is refunded. ## If an event is canceled If an organizer cancels an event, they'll typically refund affected orders. Watch for an email update, and contact the organizer if you have questions about a canceled event.
