# Promo Codes & Discounts If an organizer has shared a **promo code** with you, you can use it to save on your order. ## Where to enter it During [checkout](#/help/attendee-how-to-buy), enter your code in the **promo code** field and apply it. Your order total updates to reflect the discount — which may be a **percentage off**, a **flat amount off**, or a special offer like **buy-one-get-one**. ## Why a code might not apply If your code isn't working, it may be because: - It was **typed incorrectly** (codes aren't sensitive to capitalization, but spelling and spaces matter). - It has **expired** or hasn't started yet. - It has reached its **usage limit**. - It only applies to **specific events or ticket tiers** that aren't in your cart. - There's a **minimum** or **per-order** restriction your order doesn't meet. Double-check the code with whoever shared it, and make sure you're buying the event or tier it's meant for.
