# Your Affiliate Code Your **affiliate code** is the unique identifier that ties referred sales to you for a specific event. ## How buyers use it - They click your [tracking link](#/help/affiliate-tracking), which carries the code automatically, **or** - They enter the code during the [purchase flow](#/help/purchase-flow-overview) at checkout. Either way, the sale is attributed to you. Keep your code handy for in-person conversations and printed materials. ## Multiple events You may have a different code per event. Always use the code that matches the event you're promoting so attribution is correct.
